Phenonip is a preservative intended to prevent bacteria, mold and fungal growth in oil based products. Effective at pH levels of 3.0 - 8.0. It is a reliable preservative to prevent bacteria, mold and fungal growth in products. It's commonly used in lotion bars and oil based scrubs (products that may come into contact with water). NOT for lips. Very mild. Biodegradable. Effective Against: Bacteria, Mold, Yeast. INCI: Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben. Directions: Slowly stir into liquids at a temperature between 140°-155ºF (60°-70ºC). This product is inactivated by Polysorbate 20, Polysorbate 80 and Ceteareth-20. Recommended usage: Lotions, Lotion Bars & Oil Based Scrubs: 0.25 - 1%. Recommended usage rates are provided only as a guideline for proper preservation.
